For iGaming operators, registrations that stop before the first deposit represent one of the closest revenue opportunities in the acquisition funnel.
This mid-size Brazilian casino used Bswan’s AI voice and messaging platform for iGaming to activate users who had registered 7-21 days earlier but had not yet deposited.
The campaign used a simple Light flow — one AI voice call followed by one SMS — in Portuguese.
The operator already had a steady flow of registrations. The gap appeared one step later: part of that traffic completed registration but never moved into the depositing player base.
This segment was still relatively fresh. Users had shown clear intent recently, but the conversion window was beginning to narrow.
Standard CRM channels were already available to the operator. The campaign added a more direct outbound AI calling layer designed around one specific lifecycle event: the first deposit.
The objective was to reach these players while their registration was still recent and give them a direct path back into the funnel.
The campaign moved users through a short activation funnel:
4,440 registrations
→ 1,940 reached by AI voice
→ 241 first deposits
The resulting players generated $9,399 in deposits.
Measured against the complete campaign base, Reg-to-FTD conversion was 5.4%. Measured after successful phone contact, conversion increased to 12.5%.
This difference gives the operator two separate performance signals: how efficiently the campaign establishes contact, and how effectively reached users convert once direct communication takes place.
Registered Non-Depositors sit much closer to conversion than a long-term dormant audience.
The operator has already paid for the acquisition. The player has already created an account. The remaining commercial task is to move that existing intent into the first revenue event.
For this reason, player activation requires different campaign logic from traditional user reactivation.
A 7-21 day registration does not need the same conversation as a player who has been inactive for six months. The timing, message, and objective are different.
Bswan allows operators to run AI outbound campaigns around these lifecycle distinctions instead of treating the entire inactive database as one audience.
This campaign also tested how much could be achieved with a minimal outbound sequence.
There were no extended call attempts or long messaging chains. The operator used only one AI voice call and one SMS.
That makes the result useful as a baseline for future campaigns.
From here, the operator can test additional call attempts, different messaging sequences, narrower registration windows, or different offers while keeping the original campaign as a performance benchmark.
This is where AI voice calls and outbound AI messaging become part of an ongoing lifecycle programme rather than a one-off communication channel.

The first campaign established a performance baseline for outbound activation in Brazil.
The next step is no longer proving that the channel can convert. It is identifying where additional campaign depth creates incremental value.
That can include testing different registration-age cohorts, increasing the number of contact attempts, changing the SMS sequence, or segmenting the audience around player behaviour.
The same AI voice and messaging infrastructure can then be extended beyond first-deposit activation into early retention and player reactivation.
